Like most boys, Jamie grew up listening to hip hop, but after first hearing JestoFunk's "I'm Gonna Love You" in 1991, he discovered a love for house music. Over the years his musical boundaries have deepened as he found soulful house and started his pursuit of digging up the musical origins of today's hip hop & house.

With over 10 years experience doing mainstream shows for Rhythm Force Productions, and several years experience djing various parties in the Toronto area, Jamie has a heightened ability to read a crowd and play for them, not himself, being able to please even the most diverse crowds. Current residencies include ' Soul In the City ' in Toronto & ' Wednesday Night Sole ' in Hamilton. Toronto clubs he has dj'd at include Surface, Kool Haus, Una Mas, Alto Basso, Café Havana, Tangerine, Hush Underbar, Granite Lounge, Volume Lounge, IT & Static Nightclub. He has also done guest spots on both "Loungin' the Afterparty" on 88.1 CKLN & "Collective Rhythm" on 93.3 CFMU. In 2004 he entered new territory, performing abroad, playing at Mr. V & Alix Alvarez's weekly Sole Channel party in NYC and in Chicago with DJ FLX at the 3 degrees weekly party at Beviamo.
